PLUKT Nordic tea

PLŪKT was established by Līga and Māra Lieplapa, in Latvia's Prauliena parish, an area surrounded by mesmerizing Nordic meadows and forests. In Australia, PLŪKT is proudly supported by Nord Haus, another small, female operated business sourcing unique, artisan made homewares and accessories from Northern Europe.

By introducing the world to the organic, GMO free and caffeine free herbal teas from the meadows and forests of Northern Europe, PLŪKT proudly call themselves the pioneers of Nordic tea culture. There are two amazing women standing behind PLŪKT company – the Mother-Daughter team of Līga and Māra Lieplapa.

Underpinning PLŪKT's premium, speciality teas are quality, sustainability and authenticity. The teas are hand-plucked, and the brand name PLŪKT is a word in Latvian which means 'plucked' in English. Also, when you take a tea bag and place it in a cup full of hot water, it makes a little splash and a sound of “PLŪKT!”
