Our care instructions will help you keep your jewellery looking its best and lasting a long time.
Protect your jewellery from scratches, sharp blows, chemicals, extreme temperatures and sunlight where possible, both when wearing and storing.
Do not wear jewellery when sleeping, showering, swimming, cleaning, gardening or working out.
Apply make-up, body lotions, hair products, perfume and sunscreen before putting your jewellery on, as they contain chemicals that may damage your jewellery.
If your jewellery gets wet, pat dry with a soft cloth.
After each wear, gently wipe jewellery clean with a cotton cloth to keep it free from elements that oxidise.
Store precious pieces in separate bags so they dont scratch each other. An air-tight bag or jewellery box works best.
Store jewellery away from sunlight and areas of high temperature variation like heating vents or cars.
Frequent cleaning is recommended to keep your iROCK jewellery looking its best.
After each wear, gently wipe jewellery with a soft cotton cloth, but be careful not to rub too hard or you may damage the metal plating. If its starting to look a bit grubby, warm water with a little bit of dish washing liquid will usually work to remove impurities, and restore the shine to your jewellery.
To clean places that a polishing cloth will not reach, line a small bowl with aluminium foil. Add warm water and a tablespoon of phosphate free washing powder (not liquid or with bleach) and stir to dissolve. Place your jewellery in the solution for about 1 minute and rinse with clean water, then air dry. You may use a soft toothbrush for hard to reach places such as chain links but be careful not to scrub plated charms as this will damage the finish.
Dry immediately on a soft cloth or with a hairdryer on a low setting. Ensure the jewellery is completely dry before storing as moisture speeds the tarnishing process. This method is safe for all iROCK jewellery including gemstones.
Don't use tissues or paper towel to clean jewellery as they may scratch the surface.
Don't use chemical jewellery cleaners as they can cause adverse reactions to the metal plating.
