The debut carbon USB turntable allows you to transfer your treasured vinyl records into a digital audio format at audiophile sound quality.
Fitted with an onboard moving magnet phono preamplifier, A/D converter and USB output, this turntable is capable of digitising analogue signals for recording direct to your computer via a USB interface and suitable music recording software (not included).
A supplied 3.5mm jack can be used to connect the unit to any line level/auxiliary input such as a computer, MIDI system or mixer.
High-fidelity audio is ensured by Pro-Ject's use of dual-mono low-noise preamplifier circuitry, accurate RIAA equalisation and the exceptional performance of the carbon fibre tonearm, Ortofon OM 10E phono cartridge and low-noise drive mechanism.
The turntable also features a silent-running AC motor with two-step metal pulley which drives the hub and platter via a flat-ground belt, shock-absorbing feet for the plinth, Sorbothane suspension, and external DC power supply to reduce electro-mechanical interference. It's run on an ultra precision DC-driven AC frequency generator for greater speed stability without unwanted vibration.
