12cm x 18cm (approx 5 inches x 7 inches).
There is approx 0.3cm of black frame showing around the page, and the frame is 3cm deep.
The black wooden frames are handmade in Northamptonshire using wood sourced from sustainably managed forests. Theres no glass so you can feel the lovely old page.
The frames stand up by themselves or hang flush to the wall. They look great stood on a bookshelf. The old books come from local charity shops and second hand book dealers.
You can also choose to have your book page print(s) completely unframed. Please note the pages are delicate, small, and are not standard frame sizes so if you are going to frame them yourself you will most likely need to have a custom mount/mat made.
A fabulous quote from Anne of Green Gables by L.M.Montgomery, printed on to pages taken from the classic novel.
'Isn't it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?' What a lovely thought! This quote is the perfect gift to any one in need of a little shot of positive energy.
In the novel, the story continues Oh, dont you see, Marilla? There must be a limit to the mistakes one person can make, and when I get to the end of them, then Ill be through with them. Thats a very comforting thought. Don't you just love Anne's optimism?!
This great little print is perfect for all the optimists in this world. The text is printed on to an original page from Anne of Green Gables, using my hand-drawn font. The print is then framed in ethically sourced wood and gift wrapped in Bookishly's signature old road map.
The page is taken from a small a-format paperback and the piece measures approximately 12cm x 18cm (approx 5 inches x 7 inches).
