Top marks! Trudi tries OUTOF10
At hardtofind., Eri and I personally select each seller for their quality and uniqueness. Sorting through all the samples is certainly one of the most fun parts of our job, so in our new feature ‘Tried & Tested’ we thought we’d let you in on this process, as well as introduce you to some of our fantastic sellers.
First up is men’s fitness wear brand OUTOF10. I asked my partner, Jason, to try this activewear for his morning work-out and he loved them. They’re fantastic quality, great design, very practical, quick drying, and much sexier than the baggy cotton t-shirt and shorts he used to wear! The material is designed to draw sweat away from the body, and the shorts contain an antimicrobial agent to prevent the growth of bacteria (no more smelly work-out gear!).
Anna and Bec Bone are the sisters behind the brand. They started OUTOF10 when they’d noticed a trend in the development of activewear garments for women, but struggled to find quality designs for men. Anna and Bec took some time to tell us a bit about their exercise routines and what being fit means to them.
Q & A with Anna and Bec Bone
When is your favourite time to exercise?
Anna: Early morning, usually a 5:30am gym session.
Bec: Dawn or dusk beach run.
Your favourite type of exercise?
Anna: Resistance training/weights, especially a shoulders session.
Bec: Running, especially when I can drag friends along!
And most dreaded?
Anna: Swimming, maybe because I’m competitive and I will never beat Bec!
Bec: I know it’s good for you, but I struggle with bikram yoga.
What’s your ultimate post-work-out snack?
Anna: I am into the protein powders, so probably an all-natural protein shake.
Bec: Poached eggs on sourdough toast if it’s a morning session, otherwise a strawberry smoothie.
When you really don’t feel like working out, what excuse do you give?
Anna: “I am far too sore from yesterday’s session, I might leave it one more day…”
Bec: “Oh no you go, I’ll do my session this afternoon… maybe…”
Finish this sentence: Being fit is…
Anna: Being fit is a gradual process, but definitely worth the feeling when you get there.
Bec: Being fit is when you surprise yourself and go even that little bit further than last time – it is such a good feeling!
