An eco-friendly Christmas tree

After an unsuccessful search for a tree for their first family Christmas, One Two Tree’s Ant and Lucy McNamara decided to create their own using eco-friendly plywood. It’s great as a table centrepiece or as an alternative to a traditional Christmas tree. Plus it’s super sturdy and as simple to put together as one, two, tree! Check out the full story in the video below…

Lucy’s tree decorating tips

1. Instead of traditional baubles we went for colourful honeycomb paper garlands. They look simply beautiful placed at the ends of the branches!
2. Ceramic stars or anything with a rustic, raw, handmade ceramic looks great. Add your own twine, rope, ribbon or rainbow string to hang.
3 & 4. DIY paper crafting is very on trend and it feels super satisfying to make your own decorations. Tip: buy thick, colourful paper so you can achieve your 3D looks with ease.
