Bonjour! Bienvenue! Happy Bastille Day!

Are you a bit of a Francophile like us? It’s hard to decide what we like best about France – the fashion of the Paris runways, the relaxed elegance of French Provincial furniture, the food (eclairs and macarons and croissants, oh my!), of perhaps the wine… in fact, as this article is being written, the htf. team are enjoying a cheeky bottle of Champagne. And why not? The French have given us so many wonderful things, so let’s celebrate their national day with them. Vive la France!

City vs. country

When we think about French style, two distinct looks come to mind: the chic, avant guard Parisian fashion that looks like it’s stepped out of the pages of Vogue, and the wonderfully rustic, whites, woods, and neutrals of French Provincial. Check out our ‘look book’ to steal these styles.
