Homes: SF Girl By Bay & The Style Files
I stumbled on this bathroom photograph on three blogs over the last week and it’s so lovely it has to be shared here as well. It’s from a two-storey, light-filled house in Camden, London, that’s decorated in a French, rustic style. Danielle de Lange features images from the whole house at her blog, The Style Files, and it’s also part of a collection of beautiful bathrooms over at SF Girl By Bay, a whimsical, bohemian blog on modern style by San Francisco blogger, photographer and stylist Victoria Smith.
Food: What Should I Eat For Breakfast Today?
Weekends are a time when you can really indulge in long and lazy breakfasts and this blog is devoted to just that. Breads, cakes, pancakes, eggs, hot, cold… Marta Greber has a recipe for every craving. “It’s so much nicer to start the day early in the morning and spend some time with people you love or with a good magazine and some music,” she says. Couldn’t agree more.
Travel: What Katie Ate
South Australia’s Barossa Valley has been getting a lot of press lately and this photographic journey of the region (coincidentally where I live) is one of the most beautiful I’ve seen. The shots are by talented photographer and foodie Katie Quinn Davies and showcase some of the region’s most iconic places and people. As the new Barossa tourism advertising campaign says: be consumed.
Fashion: The Sartorialist
I am a little addicted to The Sartorialist, a forerunner in street-style fashion photography blogs and still one of the best. This week, it’s all about Milan Fashion Week – and, for me at least, what people were wearing on the street was infinitely more interesting than what was coming down the catwalk.
