Homes: 79 Ideas
Interiors, art, styling, decoration… Radostina Boseva is a Bulgarian blogger (who lives in Prague) and 79 Ideas is her collection of all the pretty things she finds on the web. With snapshots of interiors, such as this cute cottage in California, posts on decorating themes, trends and ideas, this site is a delightful (and regularly updated) source of inspiration.
Food: Raspberri Cupcakes
Steph, the author of this blog, describes herself as a “silly, short, Australian-born, Chinese-Malaysian, Sydney food blogger on a constant sugar high” – and it’s not hard to see why. This blog is a shrine to baking and sweets and there are so many beautiful photographs and recipes it was virtually impossible to choose just one. I settled on the strawberry panna cotta with roasted rhubarb, but make sure you have a look at the Gummy Bear layer cake , too – what a gorgeous idea for a child’s birthday party. You can find it here.
Travel: Follow Me To
Photographer Murad Osmann illustrates his journey around the world with his girlfriend leading him on in this clever Instagram series called “Follow Me To”. Each photo is composed in the same way – you see the landscape (from London’s Tower Bridge to the gondolas of Venice and New York’s Times Square) with his hand holding hers. Just as interesting as the scenery is the back view of his girlfriend – her long red hair, chiselled back and gorgeous outfits are mesmerising. Find him on Instagram @muradosmann.
Fashion: CR Fashion Book
Carine Roitfeld (pictured) is a former fashion model and writer but she is best known as the editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris from 2001 to 2011. Since leaving the iconic magazine, she has founded new fashion enterprise CR Fashion Book, “a magazine of style and inspiration”. Each issue is themed – the first was rebirth and the latest is on ballet. You can get a taste of Roitfeld’s irreverent style at the magazine’s website.
Inspiration: The Makers
This is a photographic project by Jennifer Causey who visited and photographed the studios of makers – from builders and printers to jewellers, perfumers and florists. Jennifer says she is inspired by amazing people who create and her images are a visual tribute to them.
