And now you’re a Head of Content. What does a Head of Content do? I write hardtofind’s daily emails, social media and blog posts (yes, I’m interviewing myself for this…), as well as anything else that’s required for the business that I like to file under: ‘Important Official Things’.
Best part of your job? Hearing a colleague laughing at something I wrote. (Usually it’s just me laughing at my own jokes.)
Er, not-the-best part of your job? Trying to be creative when I’m under a time crunch or hungry and snackless.
What’s your career motto? The best decision is the one you make.
What advice can you offer someone who wants a job like yours? Read loads of stuff by different people (Buzzfeed! Books! Blogs! Instagram captions!) and don’t stop believing writing.
