Being a mum is the most amazing thing in the world! It is also the most exhausting and frightening thing in the world. I absolutely adore my children and feel so blessed to have Henry (5), Oliver (3) and Eve (1) in my life – they truly make my heart sing. I’m also so blessed to have an amazing husband who invests just as much energy and love into raising our children as I do.

My mum’s been a phenomenal role model. She’s devoted, gentle and kind to me and my three sisters. If I can emulate her in some small way, I’ll feel very proud.

Tracy’s Mother’s Day wishlist

1. ‘Tie-dye’ quilt in coral and grey, $299. I’m a quilt kind of gal and Mozi certainly know how to design a beautiful, functional, and oh-so-importantly machine-washable quilt!
2. ‘Wyatt’ leather quilted vest, $229.95. Be still my beating heart! The perfect bomber vest for the cooler months – this one is on the top of my wishlist!
3. ‘Abi’ hand-loomed cotton scarf, $70. I love supporting Australian designers and Fair-Trade products, and this super-soft lightweight scarf offers both!
4. ‘Gladstone’ brown leather duffel bag, $389. I love this classic design with its timeless use of leather and metal.
5. Orla Kiely toiletry bag set, $76.95. Orla Kiely is such an inspiration with her beautiful designs. This set would even make brushing your teeth a stylish occasion!
6. ‘Geometric’ wood candles (set of 3), $60. Oh! Geometric shapes and wood combined. Love, love, love these!
7. Anna Chandler Design ‘circles’ mugs (set of 4), $40. A pop of colour with my morning coffee? Yes please! Anna Chandler is an icon in the WA design scene.
8. ‘Cooper’ velvet ottoman, $674.95. This would be a massive splurge for me, but I’ve always loved Whiteport’s amazing quality.
9. ‘New and old’ table lamp, $199.95. I am a lighting tragic! Lamps give a room such a warm glow in the evening, while by day I love the architectural shape of this industrial-style lamp.
10. ‘Safi’ sisal basket, $65. In a house with three kids, you can never have enough storage baskets. I am loving weaved products right now and this bright orange makes me smile.
