Up-style your mid-winter Christmas

There aren’t many people who can create a better-looking table than seller Dandi Studio. Here are their tips for two takes on Christmas in July.

Festive with a twist

Christmassy – but all-importantly not too Christmassy
Christmassy – but all-importantly not too Christmassy

Here, we’ve gone for a modern Australian take on the traditional Christmas ‘red and green’ for a festive (but not too festive) approach. We’ve used our organic cotton Succulent print tablecloth and napkins in Citronelle Green as a backdrop, and styled with lemon yellow and bright berry red for a fresh new look. Using simple red berry foliage and a little string of bunting adds even more texture and a bit of Christmas cheer.

Northern lights

Channelling Scandi styling, our second look uses a neutral backdrop with splashes of mint, grey and lemon and bright baubles. Our versatile organic cotton Succulent print tablecloth in Feather Grey lays the foundation and its complemented by simple stoneware in pastel hues. We love how the felt bauble garland adds warmth and character and brightens the whole mood of the table, making it feel instantly more ‘Christmassy’. Sprigs of rosemary in glass jars add some lovely foliage and scent to the table, and are an easy style solution along with little bundles of natives and berries tied with twine at each place setting.
