Homes: My Scandinavian Home
This interior caught my eye because of the vibrant, floral wall print. It’s like having spring indoors all year round. The rest of the apartment is typically Scandinavian – all white walls, light wood and some vintage touches. Natural, simple, lovely!
Food: Half Baked Harvest by Tieghan
As the (very young) author of this blog says, there’s no sugar-coating it. Making your own croissants is a labour of love. But when I stumbled across these step-by-step photographs I couldn’t resist but share. And it seems like a lovely weekend project. Something you should try, at least once in your life?
(P.S. Make sure you read the About section of this blog – this young woman really is quite the inspiration.)
Fashion & beauty: SayChic.com
Natural nails. Don’t you love them? According to beauty editor Suzanne Wangmann, the biggest trend to come out of New York Fashion Week was all natural – nude shades and French manicures. Good news for those of us who aren’t so great at painting them..
Travel: La Tartine Gourmande
A stunning photographic essay on Sicily by La Tartine Gourmande Béatrice Peltre. She visited the Italian island in spring for a cooking, food styling and photography workshop at cooking school Case Vecchie in Vallelunga. This blog is glimpse into how she spent her time.
Pinspiration: Frédéric Chollet
So much Pinterest, so little time. My favourite find this week (thank you Diane Keaton) is Frédéric Chollet. Art, colour, travel, illustration, architecture, vintage, la femme, Mad Men, Marilyn Monroe and Helen Mirren (among countless other ‘Toujours Belles‘) – you’ve got to wonder where he finds the time.
