A witty, affectionate family poem in a gorgeous chunky beech frame.
Our witty framed family print makes the perfect gift for new parents, experienced parents, siblings and friends - whether it's for a birthday, christening, Christmas, Mother's Day. Touchingly, it is also a popular gift for newly adopting families, which makes us very proud!
Written by our award-winning poet Joanna Miller, this A6 poem captures the fun times, the not so fun times(!) and the unrivalled bond we share with our families.
The font is taupe and the design was by Russet and Gray.
Whether it's relying, crying or a little white lying, everyone will recognise the experiences described in 'What is a Family?'
The text reads:
What is a Family?
Its sharing, comparing, bonding & caring
Its hugging & squeezing, talking & teasing
Its praising & knowing, belonging & growing
Its guiding, providing, trusting, confiding
Its loving & kissing, nurturing, missing
Its working & playing, treating & paying
Its arguing, fighting & often delighting
Its visiting, hosting & Sunday roasting
Its relaxing & boring, most reassuring
Its coaxing & charming, appeasing & calming
Its waiting, debating, fulfilling, elating
Its needing & feeding & tactful conceding
Its driving, conniving, learning & thriving
Its holding & nursing, worrying, cursing
Its stressing, confessing & making a messing
Its loaning & moaning, helping & phoning
Its bickering, laughing, bedding & bathing
Its listening, coping, planning & hoping
Its relying, crying, a little white lying
Its forgiving & mending, liking, depending
Thats what makes a family!
