A witty Christmas poem in a gorgeous chunky beech frame. All about family time at Christmas!
This framed A6 Christmas print makes the perfect gift for a busy mum, family or hostess. It also makes a fabulous Christmas decoration!
It was written by Bespoke Verse poet (and Oxford graduate!) Joanna Miller, who has won lots of awards for her accessible and clever relationship-themed poems. The design is by Russet and Gray.
Whether its envelope licking, mistletoe kissing or Grandpa snoring, everyone will recognise the scenes described in What is Christmas?
What is Christmas?
Its wrapping & sticking & envelope licking
Its hosting & toasting & turkey roasting
Its cocktail drinking, smiling & winking
Its baking & dishing & mistletoe kissing.
Its nativity playing & going awaying
Its telly viewing & nonstop chewing
Its writing & thanking & empty the banking
Its paper ripping & double cream whipping.
Its tree decorating & staying up lating
Its bickering, laughing, hat, glove, & scarfing
Its singing & ringing, planning & bringing
Its stocking filling & lots of good willing.
Its service going & possibly snowing
Its hugging & squeezing, talking & teasing
Its greeting, competing & all too fleeting
Its present admiring & logs on the firing.
Its cracker banging & paperchain hanging
Its champagne pouring & Grandpa snoring
Its monopoly cheating & Quality Streeting
Its shopping & bopping & parties non-stopping...
Thats what makes a Christmas!
