    Material:

    Print Material:
Our print stock is a 230gsm archival-pH neutral matte paper, perfect for prints of all sizes and easily framed. It is a photorealistic, bright neutral white paper with an anti-cockling rear barrier layer and a wide colour gamut which results in superb quality print artwork.

    Framed Prints:
We supply professionally framed prints ready to hang with a choice of flat black, white or natural oak frames 30mm in width. We choose to use Shinkolite 3mm cast acrylic in our frames - it is lightweight, virtually unbreakable, has greater optical clarity than glass and provides your print with long term protection from harmful UV rays greatly reducing the risk of fading.

    Delivery:

Small unframed prints are sent out flat including a cello cover and fomecore backing board to avoid bending; larger unframed prints are rolled and shipped in sturdy, sealed cardboard tubes.

Framed prints are professionally packed in custom-made packaging.

Standard delivery for unframed prints is usually 5-7 business days. For framed prints please allow approx 2 weeks plus delivery time.

    Description:

FAUSTO COPPI print features a newspaper cover from 1952 featuring the famous Italian cyclist Fausto Coppi on his way to winning that years Tour de France.

It was the 39th edition of the Tour and Coppi won five stages and the mountains classification, giving him a final margin of almost half an hour over the second-ranked cyclist, Stan Ockers of Belgium. Such a margin has never been achieved since although it falls well short of the greatest winning margin in the races history of just under 3 hours in the first ever Tour de France held in 1903.

Treasured for its stunning illustrations, the Italian La Domenica del Corriere (The Sunday Courier), hit the edicola every weekend between 1899 and 1989. It came free with the daily newspaper, Corriere della Sera, or could be purchased separately.
