ART PRINTS
All wall art is professionally printed on 230gsm acid-free, pH-neutral, archival matte paper using premium inks.

FRAMES
Within Australia we offer professionally framed prints ready to hang with a choice of white, natural oak, dark oak or black timber box frames. Our framer uses Shinkolite 3mm cast acrylic; it is lightweight, virtually unbreakable, has greater optical clarity than glass and provides your print with long term protection from harmful UV rays.

Delivery:

Unframed prints are rolled and shipped in sturdy, sealed cardboard tubes.

Framed prints are professionally packed and shipped in custom-made packaging.

Standard delivery for unframed prints is usually 5-7 business days. For framed prints please allow approx 2-3 weeks plus delivery time.

Description:

TOUR DE FRANCE 1950 print is a reproduction of the French sports magazine Miroir-Sprint for the 1950 edition of the Tour de France.

Eventual winner, the Swiss Ferdinand Ferdi Kubler, is in the yellow jersey. It was reported that Gino Bartali, captain of the Italian team, was threatened and assaulted by some French supporters accusing him of causing Jean Robic's fall on the Col Aspin. Subsequently Bartali retired after winning the 12th stage and all the other Italian riders (including Fiorenzo Magni, who was wearing the yellow jersey at the time), left with him.

The lead transferred to Kubler and he became the first Swiss winner of the Tour de France.
