No electricity needed with HABA's terra kids camping light.
Kids will love to turn the hand crank to start the generator and watch the camping light come to life.
The generator produces an electrical current which is stored in the rechargeable battery. The accumulator provides enough energy for the small bright LED lamps to shine. When the LED no longer lights up, the accumulator is empty. Just wind the crank and it will work again.
How does a generator work? A generator converts mechanical energy into electrical energy. The mechanical energy is produced by winding the crank. The crank is connected to a coil spinning inside a magnet. Triggered off by the magnetic forces, electrons bounce around inside the coil. The movement of the electrons generates an electrical charge which makes the lamp light up.
HABA's camping light comes with metal snap link, alarm whistle, compass and instructions.
