With a belief in a Well Kept philosophy, these three Australians based in Manly Sydney, have created a daily moisturiser formulated with a combination of botanical oils and extracts including the wildcrafted Australian bush extract of Kakadu Plum. These little numbers are great. We use them for sketching in our design office and they feel good in the hand without feeling too precious. It comes with a 3 mm thick soft 7B graphite lead and can write on many materials including wood, metal, paper and glass.

Brepols is a Belgian company dating back to 1796 that designs and manufactures all their products in Belgium. With Back to Paper the philosophy is life is hectic, paper is patient. This B7 notebook is a lovely piece with an unusual elegance, for a notebook. It is thin with a soft cover and the paper is ivory with blue horizontal lines. The chamfered corners are what catches your eye as well as being practical - as we all know that in your pocket the corners are the first to go. Also included is a sheet of stickers and labels to organise your contents - a nice touch.

Bahen & Co: 70% Cacao - Brazil 75g : Made in Margaret River WA, Beans from Brazil.
With a background in wine making Josh and Jacq use vintage chocolate making equipment and only 2 ingredients, cacao and cane sugar, and strive to make chocolate in a traditional way that pre-dates the mass production of the industrial revolution. Located in Margaret River in Western Australia, they have a philosophy of Bean to Bar and this is beautifully expressed in this chocolate bar, using beans from a Bahia plantation once lost in the Jungles of the Mata Atlantica. The chocolate produced from this cacao has expressions of dark fruit and bold chocolate notes. Dark and lovely.
