About our shirts.
Organic cotton from India is farmed without the use of pesticides, genetically modified seed or synthetic fertilisers.
The farms are located in monsoonal areas, and no irrigation is required.
The cotton is certified organic by a global inspection and certification group called The Control Union.
The fabric is knitted in Melbourne and coloured using accredited eco dyes for colour fastness and sustainability.
The t-shirts themselves are manufactured in Sydney by a factory that doesn't employ or contract any home workers or outworkers, is guaranteed sweatshop free, and is carbon neutral.
The fabric is 140-180gsm and very soft. All t-shirts are reinforced with shoulder-to-shoulder taping for quality and durability.
Over 90% of the t-shirt production is made in Australia.
3 year warranty.
There is a 3-year replacement warranty on workmanship and manufacturing of our t-shirts.
This warranty only covers the t-shirt itself, not wear and tear on the printing.

Somehow though the idea that bees "violate aerodynamic theory" got embedded in folklore. According to the accepted theory of the day, bumblebees didn't generate enough lift to fly. The real challenge with bees wasn't figuring out the aerodynamics but the mechanics: specifically, how bees can move their wings so fast, roughly 200 beats per second, which is 10 or 20 times the firing rate of the nervous system. The trick apparently is that the bee's wing muscles (thorax muscles, actually) don't expand and contract so much as vibrate, like a rubber band. Or perhaps he just hitched a ride...
