FAQ
1) On which surfaces can I apply my Vinyl Design wall sticker?
You can apply your sticker on any clean, smooth surface like walls, doors, windows, also on timber floor, tables or mirrors. Stickers are not suitable for wallpaper due to the fact that they would damage it on removal. If your walls are rendered or porous the vinyl wont adhere.
If your walls are rendered or porous, the vinyl might not adhere. If you're not sure about your wall email us and we will post you a sample.

Please note: a few new wall paint formulas are causing decal sticking problems. The most common ones are Dulux Wash & Wear Low Sheen and Taubmans Easy Coat Low Sheen. These paints are Voc free or low Voc. If you used one of these paints (or another Voc free paint) on your wall please request a decal sample before proceeding with your order!
2) If my wall is freshly painted can I apply the stickers?
We advise that you wait a couple of weeks before applying your wall sticker.
3) Can I apply my sticker in the bathroom?
Yes, just make sure there is no humidity or steam at the moment of application.
4) Can I apply the stickers on my own?
Yes, you can, with patience and accuracy for bigger designs. We suggest you to position your sticker on the wall with some masking tape to be sure you're happy with the composition, then start the process of peeling and sticking. All the instruction on how to apply will be provided with the sticker.
5) How long will my sticker last?
Vinyl Wall Design decals are made of mat vinyl, a semi permanent material that will last at least 5 years. Because its semi permanent it wont leave any marks on removal.
6) Can I request one of your stickers in a different size or colour?
Yes you can, we will try to accommodate your requests. Colours are subject to availability and the change in size might vary the price of the product.Email us your request and well reply soon.
7) Will Vinyl Design stickers leave any residue when removed or take off the paint?
No, our stickers won't leave any trace on the wall when removed; Since we cannot guarantee the condition of all wall surfaces, we cannot say for sure that some paint flecking will not occur. This depends on the condition and texture of your wall, if the paint is old and flaky you may notice paint flecks on the back of the decals when removed and some minor paint touch up may be required.Vinyl Wall Design is not responsible for any damage that may occur.
