Ethical jewellery handmade on the southern coast of Sydney, the Solitude Ring in Gold Vermeil with a Rough Pink Sapphire_ _is completely handmade in Zoë's studio on Dharawal country.

Sapphire is known as the wisdom stone - it helps focus and bring in peace of mind. Pink sapphire in particular acts as a magnet to draw into your life all that you need in order to evolve.

To make this ring, firstly we make a mould in the clay and carefully place the pink sapphire gemstone. Then we melt down the recycled silver and hand pour it into the mould so that the stones are cast into place, not set. This process of sand casting or Delft clay casting results in one-of-a-kind fine jewellery pieces. Once cast, the Rough Pink Sapphire Solitude ring is then plated in 18k gold. Due to the nature of this process, the stone colour, placement, texture and finish of each Solitude Ring will be unique. That’s the beauty of buying made to order, handmade jewellery!

Zoë Alexandria is ethical jewellery handmade in Australia. The metals and gemstones used in our rings, earrings and necklaces are responsibly sourced. The rough stone used in the Pink Sapphire Solitude ring is sourced from India and the silver is fabricated in Australia from a Sydney based refinery, using recycled materials. To keep her safe please keep your Pink Sapphire Solitude Ring in her reusable pouch and cardboard box when you’re not wearing her. Make sure you apply your lotions and perfumes before you put her on and if you plan to go swimming, surfing or maybe even rock climbing - don’t take her with you! _
