Sizing:
This bangle comes in our unique Clasp style. This eliminates the need for you to base your sizing on your hand. It can be stretched out to fit over wrists instead, woo! It's a regular size (63.7mm) when closed.
The clasp fits around 80% of people so it is perfect for gifting!
Material:
Our bangles are made with love from high-quality stainless steel. Rose gold bangles are dipped in 18k Rose Gold. They are 100% hypoallergenic, and nickel & lead free.

Clasps
Our Clasp style bangles are delicate and require a bit of extra care compared to our solid bangles.
Try to avoid hitting the bangle on any hard surfaces. We also suggest not sleeping with the bangle on as it may get hooked on the covers (or damaged while you sleep-thrash...)
We do offer a 12 month warranty on our clasps, so if they break, please let us know via emailing us at hello@bebangles.co!
Silver Bangles
Our stainless steel silver bangles are pretty tough and won't tarnish or rust. It can get scratched, but your local jeweller should be able to polish them out for you.
You can polish your silver bangle easily with a silver polishing cloth. If it needs a clean, use a lint free cloth dipped in warm soapy (mild dishwashing liquid is fine) water to wipe the bangle clean. Then dry and polish with your polishing cloth.
Rose Gold
Our 18k Rose Gold and 14k Yellow Gold plated bangles are gorgeous, but delicate. So youll need to take extra care with them prevent any of the rose gold/yellow gold tarnishing or being worn away.
Here are a few things your rose gold/yellow gold bangle needs to AVOID in order to stay sparkly and shiny.
Perfume / lotions / hairspray
These ones are often the main culprit of tarnishing. If youre applying perfume to your wrists, keep your rose gold bangles on the dresser for that day. The chemicals in perfume can react with the rose gold and cause it to tarnish.
If youre using lotion, make sure its absorbed into the skin before you put your bangles on.
And do your hair then wash your hands/wrists before popping those rose gold bangles onto your wrists.
Chemicals and rose gold/yellow gold plated bangles do not mix!
Chlorinated, salt or freshwater
Too much moisture will deteriorate the quality of the plating. And water can cause it to disintegrate or wear off. Take your rose gold/yellow gold bangle off before a shower or bath - and if youre going swimming, chlorine and saltwater are a definite no-no.
Swimming, showering and bathing are not a good match for your bangle!
Do not using a silver cloth, baking soda, or any other chemicals to clean rose gold /yellow gold plated jewellery.

I like to think of myself as a reformed people pleaser.
But for the first 3 decades of my life? Not so much.
I cant even count the number of situations where someone has said something, done something or acted in a way that didnt sit well with me.
That time a family member was leaving nasty comments on the Be. Bangles page? I let that go on for a few months before I finally banned her from the page. And in staying true to my people-pleasing origins, I then APOLOGISED to her for banning her, even though she was the one trolling me. (Goddamn gurl).
The time a housemate kept telling me how I was allowed to live in the house we were both paying for? I towed the line and did everything she told me to do until I finally spoke up 3 months later. (It didnt go well).
The times when an employee would give me the silent treatment every time I gave her feedback or asked for changes to her some of her work? I never said anything. I freaked out that she was ignoring me and just stopped giving feedback.
For most of my life Ive carried the belief that its more important to be nice and liked than to speak up about my own opinions and needs.
I put my own needs at the very bottom of the list, and operated as a dirt eater. Its like I had a label on my head that said - Oh, you want to kick dirt in my face? Go ahead! Do it! And then, with a mouth full of mud, Ill apologise to you and make excuses for your behaviour.
Oh man, and the excuses I made were endless.
Maybe they didnt mean it.
Maybe Im reading it wrong.
Maybe theyre just having a really bad day.
I dont know whats going on in their life, this probably isnt about me.
And I know Im not the only one guilty of this. I wonder how many women reading this email are putting up with situations for the fear of being disliked. Or not rocking the boat. Or wanting to please people rather than speak up about whats important to them.
Well, consider this bangle a wake-up call.
