Sizing:
This bangle comes in our unique Clasp style. This eliminates the need for you to base your sizing on your hand. It can be stretched out to fit over wrists instead, woo! It's a regular size (63.7mm) when closed.
The clasp fits around 80% of people so it is perfect for gifting!
Material:
Our bangles are made with love from high-quality stainless steel. Rose gold bangles are dipped in 18k Rose Gold. They are 100% hypoallergenic, and nickel & lead free.

Clasps
Our Clasp style bangles are delicate and require a bit of extra care compared to our solid bangles.
Try to avoid hitting the bangle on any hard surfaces. We also suggest not sleeping with the bangle on as it may get hooked on the covers (or damaged while you sleep-thrash...)
We do offer a 12 month warranty on our clasps, so if they break, please let us know via emailing us at hello@bebangles.co!
Silver Bangles
Our stainless steel silver bangles are pretty tough and won't tarnish or rust. It can get scratched, but your local jeweller should be able to polish them out for you.
You can polish your silver bangle easily with a silver polishing cloth. If it needs a clean, use a lint free cloth dipped in warm soapy (mild dishwashing liquid is fine) water to wipe the bangle clean. Then dry and polish with your polishing cloth.
Rose Gold
Our 18k Rose Gold and 14k Yellow Gold plated bangles are gorgeous, but delicate. So youll need to take extra care with them prevent any of the rose gold/yellow gold tarnishing or being worn away.
Here are a few things your rose gold/yellow gold bangle needs to AVOID in order to stay sparkly and shiny.
Perfume / lotions / hairspray
These ones are often the main culprit of tarnishing. If youre applying perfume to your wrists, keep your rose gold bangles on the dresser for that day. The chemicals in perfume can react with the rose gold and cause it to tarnish.
If youre using lotion, make sure its absorbed into the skin before you put your bangles on.
And do your hair then wash your hands/wrists before popping those rose gold bangles onto your wrists.
Chemicals and rose gold/yellow gold plated bangles do not mix!
Chlorinated, salt or freshwater
Too much moisture will deteriorate the quality of the plating. And water can cause it to disintegrate or wear off. Take your rose gold/yellow gold bangle off before a shower or bath - and if youre going swimming, chlorine and saltwater are a definite no-no.
Swimming, showering and bathing are not a good match for your bangle!
Do not using a silver cloth, baking soda, or any other chemicals to clean rose gold /yellow gold plated jewellery.
Our bangles are delicate and unfortunately we cant help if they end up tarnished!

My dream was to be a Teacher
until COVID happened
And I became the Teacher.
Home-Learning came along.....
and my patience left the building.
And I found myself saying things like...
"Do you speak to your teacher like that?"
"Um, we learnt this yesterday...."
"Can you just FOCUS!"
"Another snack? Really?"
And when did Maths get so hard?
Apparently, things are done differently now...
And so in tribute to the good humans
who do this every day in class
and every other day over zoom,
we introduce our
Teacher Bangs.
A special range for a pretty special bunch of people
who shape our children,
encourage them and support them
and get them to complete work
they would never do at home for their parents.
But mostly we want to genuinely thank them for
all the extra work that the last 2 years have required and
never giving up on our kids' education.
We know they don't want another candle,
another box of chocolates
or another funny coffee mug.
So we made these wonderful Bangs
because
We think Teachers are Rockstars
(And we know our children are the reason they drink).
May 2022 bring in-person classes full of engaged kids
and no parents trying to be teachers.
