The process used to colour the Yellow Gold and Rose Gold pieces is called IP Plating (Ion Plating). The centre of the circle is surgical steel and the outside has a layer of titanium oxide, which can be used as a pigment (yellow gold and rose gold) and has the same non allergenic properties as surgical steel. The process turns the titanium oxide into electric ions which becomes harder and more durable coating with a higher brightness than that produced through traditional plating methods.
Care instructions:
In order to preserve your items longevity, we recommend removing your necklace when showering, swimming and applying perfumes. Clean with a dry soft cloth. Your Coorabell Crafts jewellery will not tarnish and is hypoallergenic and suitable for people with sensitive skin.
