Four Humours:

Based on the four elements of earth, water, air, and fire, and their accompanying qualities of cold, hot, moist, and dry, the concept of the four bodily humours originated with the ancient Greek philosophers Aristotle, Hippocrates, and Galen. A foundational principle of medieval and Elizabethan cosmology, more recently, the humours have influenced modern psychology's personality tests.
