Print Material:
230gsm archival-pH neutral matte paper, perfect for prints of all sizes and easily framed. It is a photorealistic, bright neutral white paper with an anti-cockling rear barrier layer and a wide colour gamut which results in superb quality print artwork.

Framed Prints:
Professionally framed prints ready to hang with a choice of flat black, white or natural oak frames 30mm in width. We use Shinkolite 3mm cast acrylic in our frames - it is lightweight, virtually unbreakable, has greater optical clarity than glass and provides your print with long term protection from harmful UV rays greatly reducing the risk of fading.

Delivery:

Unframed prints are rolled and shipped in sturdy, sealed cardboard tubes.

Framed prints are professionally packed in custom-made packaging.

Standard delivery for unframed prints is usually 5-7 business days. For framed prints please allow approx 2 weeks plus delivery time.

Description:

An illustration from 1895 advertising a series of lectures by prominent New York phrenologist Professor W.G. Alexander which were to be held in Grant’s Concert Hall in Ottawa, Canada, from January 9th 1895. Admission was by silver coin not less than 10 cents, boys unaccompanied by their parents were charged 10 cents to insure (sic) attention and crying babies $4.50.

Publicity for the lectures claimed: “All interested in advancement, will find in these lectures food for thought and inspiration to action. Parents will learn how to train and how not to train children. Young Men and Women will learn how to make success instead of failure in life.”
