Amazing product that Id HIGHLY recommend to friends to add fun to mealtimes!
This was bought as a 4th Birthday present for my daughter, who finds meal times and eating a chore!
We have had a great success with using the treasure map and coin from the start she relates to the treasure map well as she particularly loves mermaids and fairies (which both feature on the map). We use it to encourage her to eat a bit of everything on her plate, so after eating some vegetables, meat and potatoes she can move forward one place, this has not only improved the variety she is eating from the plate but also the speed at which meals are eaten, making family meal times a far more pleasant occasion rather than a battle ground. The map also gives a talking point to add some interest to a young child when sitting at a table.
The plate, bowl, cup and cutlery are a well made and loved along with the place mat. I have already recommended this to a number of friends. facing similar issues with their children

This is such a unique product. Yes its a dinner set but also so much more! My 4 year old son is the fussiest eater in the world and its great for incentivising him to eat but my 6 year old who is a great eater also loves using the set just for the game side. Really nicely made too! Super fun at mealtimes for all young ones. Highly recommended!

Fantastic and original!
This set is such a great idea! My little guy is a pretty good eater, but hes sometime slow. This helps move things along and motivates him to try foods he might not have tried before. The gold coin is super fun and the utensils are adorable.

My kids LOVE these complete sets! It comes with everything you need for a meal and the fun theme have my kids focusing on the set instead of what they are eating!

This Dinner Set and Game is AMAZING!! Its really fantastic quality and great fun. Our 4 year old daughter has actually tried new foods and eaten vegetables which were previously avoided at all costs!!! It has made mealtimes a fun and positive experience and I feel she is eating a more balanced diet because of it.

Brilliant for fussy eaters!
This is such a great product! My 5 year old daughter is a fussy eater and this set really helped. Although she actually likes a wide range of foods, she finds sitting at the table too boring and would rather not eat if she can be doing something else! With this set, she was so excited each meal time to be able to move along the treasure map with each bite that in no time she was eating her food without any prompting from me and not asking to leave the table all the time! The set is very good quality, the cutlery in particular is fab. Highly recommend to anyone struggling to get their child to eat.

How it works:

While many families do not experience difficulties at childrens mealtimes, there are others that can experience great frustration or tension their child does not want to eat or has bad table manners.

The Gotrovo Mealtime Treasure Hunt is designed to address these sorts of issues in a fun and supportive way, that does not turn eating into an area of control, or turn mealtimes into a battleground. It is supported by advice from a nutritional therapist, who also has considerable experience with special needs-related eating issues.

The game board/dinner mat features a treasure trail which children move along using a golden coin. As they eat more of their meal, kids move further along the treasure trail, until they reach the end and find a reward card hidden under their plate. With the reward cards they can collect stars througout the week, hunt for a hidden treasure (it's fun to hide a favourite toy or book, or 10p as a reward which they can search for), or create different rewards using blank cards.

The game board offers fun learning opportunities from number recognition, to directional language and counting. Keep your kids entertained counting flying fish and sharks fins, and avoiding exploding volcanoes as they eat!

They'll have loads of fun digging in with the special treasure hunter's 'shovel and fork' cutlery too!

Created in consultation with a nutritional therapist, this dinner game also comes with an expert advice sheet and ideas to encourage healthy eating behaviours.
