The 'Keep It Real' sandwich board wearing monkey first appeared in 2002. The artwork depicts a monkey in a human-like upright position, stenciled in black with his eyes shielded from sight. The sandwich board that hangs on the shoulders of the monkey reads, "Keep It Real." Along with rats, monkeys are a reoccurring motif in Banksy's work.
This premium quality gicle art print has been produced on heavy weight (300gsm/matte finish) 100% cotton rag textured fine art stock using archival quality inks resulting in a superior print suitable for museum or gallery display.
