The perfect gift for any tea drinking couple- this is the easy way to inform people how one takes their tea! A really unique personalised wedding gift and special bride and groom cutlery.
Two silver plated teaspoons with your choice of up to 20 characters hand stamped onto each spoon face.
All of the cutlery is available with a choice of handle style, some simple in design and some more ornate. We find that simple handles are especially good for men or people with a more classic taste, while the ornate handles lend themselves well to ladies and people who like vintage styles. You can select your handle choice from the drop down menu.
Our personalised cutlery differs from engraved cutlery because here at The Cutlery Commission we use traditional, industrial tools to indent every single letter into the silver plate itself. Therefore marks made during the hammering process are expected and spacing and alignment of letters are not exact. It all adds to the whimsical and charming look that makes your commissioned piece of cutlery such a unique gift.
Each commission will arrive tied in chiffon ribbon with a branded tag and tiny spoon charm; all lovingly wrapped in our bespoke acid-free tissue paper and ready to be given as a gift... or kept for yourself! If you want that little extra touch you can now purchase a Cutlery Commission branded gift box complete with a cleaning cloth. They come in three sizes so we will allocate the correct size for the order.
All of the cutlery is hand-crafted from brass, which is then silver plated. None of the items are therefore dishwasher safe and we recommend hand-washing in warm water. Although the cutlery is perfectly useable, being silver plated means that it is prone to tarnish over time and should be treated more as a keepsake rather than an every-day utensil. And remember silver cutlery loves a good polish now and then!
There is an option of selecting a gift-wrap service for this product that will directly deliver $2.50 per gift to help raise funds for sick and premature babies at The Royal Hospital for Women Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
The gift-wrap service includes a Scandinavian theme printed cloth tied with twine; complete with a note regarding the donation and signature tiny spoon charm. Tiny spoons for tiny people will run from November 17th in conjunction with World Prematurity Day.
