Totally understandable due to it being a natural change in the material, but it didn't show the lettering as effectively as it could have. I used my wood burner to darken the left side before gifting it.

The item is beautiful but they weren't home and the courier didn't leave a note to pick it up from the post office. She received a text message from the post office after it had been there two weeks. Since it was the courier's fault, I don't know if this is hardtofind's problem or the seller's problem. But like I said the item is beautiful and I'm happy with the end result despite the issue.
