Hardwick & Cesko Design

Hardwick & Cesko (H&C) have been working in the furniture industry for the past 5 years designing and developing products for some of Australia’s most well-known furniture brands & retailers.  H&C also offer a custom design service for individual pieces to full interior fit-outs for domestic & commercial commissions.  At H&C we endeavour to use materials and finishes that minimise the impact on our precious environment.

David Hardwick

David Hardwick, senior designer at furniture & homewares brand Hardwick & Cesko, has extensive experience in designing and developing products for some of Australia’s most well-known furniture brands & retailers. 

With a Bachelor of Design degree from the highly acclaimed College of Fine Arts in Sydney under his belt, David commenced his career in design with an Architectural firm designing furniture schemes for interior and outdoor applications.

His keen desire to further expand his experience within this field saw him make a permanent move into the furniture industry as a designer for Fantastic Furniture in 2001. Primarily designing furniture, David also applied his aesthetic eye to the design of store fixtures and merchandising. He became a senior buyer with the company before starting his own design firm Hardwick & Cesko in 2006. In this current venture David designs products for manufacturers, wholesalers & retailers both in Australia & abroad with current designs selling around the world from Europe to South America.

David’s ongoing success has been his ability to continually deliver high-quality designs that draw upon his vast experience in design but also in his thorough understanding of the manufacturing and retail environments in which they must succeed.  His vast catalogue of work to date demonstrates a thoughtful consideration of how to balance both aesthetics and functionality.

As a natural progression from furniture design, David has been commissioned to work on some exciting new Interior projects.  His recent Interior fit-out projects include Tomislav’s in Darlinghurst a chic inner city restaurant and the newly revamped brand HB&Co’s furniture showroom in Rockhampton.
