Gabi Sturman studied Ceramic Design at Monash University in Melbourne ten years ago. Today, she designs and creates every piece of jewellery in her studio on the beautiful Atherton Tablelands, in far North Queensland.
The fineness and purity of porcelain make it ideally suited to jewellery. It is ivory white and can be polished, leaving a silky smooth surface. Each piece of jewellery is the culmination of considered design and every element has been skillfully hand made by Gabi.
Patterns are applied to the porcelain before it is fired to 1260 degrees Celsius. Once fired, the pattern is permanently embedded in the porcelain and will not rub off. As each piece is individually rolled, cut, polished and printed, no two pieces are exactly the same.
The durability and timeless quality of porcelain and the beauty of pure sterling silver combine to make pieces that can last for centuries!
