After coming out of a 12 year business relationship with major reputable clothing retailers, Rania Baroud decided to take off and enjoy the next 6 months adventuring around some of the world’s oldest cities.  Given her background in clothing, her passion for texture, pattern and colour was reignited as she walked through ancient markets and visited beautiful old textile shops. Returning to Melbourne with inspiration and love for what was once her infatuation. Cadeau Republic was born!

Pulling out her dusty sketch books and cases of French vintage fabrics hidden away in storage, Rania began to design the first range of CR.Exploring vintage floral and modern colour ways, nostalgic textures and vibrant embroidery the range has began with sleep ware, under ware and a little home ware.

The intention for these charming products is for our clientele not to worry or leave the home in search for the right gift. The translation for the French word ‘Cadeau’ is Gift, and our Cadeaux are for men, women and children and packaged in beautiful boxes that can be kept after the gift is opened. The prospect of creating an online store that expands in range every few months motivates us to provide you with a place to find that unique gift every time, for who ever it may be.
