Bilingual is the creation of emerging designer Marta Niegowska. Marta set herself the challenge of creating a label that pushed boundaries and got people talking about what jewellery is and can be. With a unique, unisex approach to jewellery, Marta explores various ideas through her pieces that induce humor or provoke thought. Some pieces can interlock, or be worn in many ways, while others can clip onto your clothing.
Bilingual pieces are hand-crafted and finished in sterling silver, creating truly unique pieces. All design prototypes are worn for some months to gauge functionality and success as a piece prior to release. Due to this extended process, only one concise collection is released annually, thereby giving each piece longevity. Bilingual’s aesthetic is simple, sculptural, concept-based pieces.
