Bride&Wolfe circle shelves are crafted by a local artisan in the Victorian countryside. We use solid lengths of Australian timber (Blackwood and White Ash) that are gently steamed and bent using Swedish wood-bending machinery dating back to the 1850s. The shelves are then lightly hand-stained and finished with lustrous Scandinavian wood oils and bees wax to enhance the natural timber tones. Built to last, they'll become as precious as the heirlooms they showcase. The shelves measure approx 50cm across, timber is 7cm wide and 7mm thick, space between top curve and first shelf measures approx 13cm, space between first shelf and second shelf measures approx 22cm, space between second shelf and lower curve measures approx 11cm. Owners’ tip: As befits a piece that celebrates poise, objects are best positioned on each shelf in a balanced formation to avoid tilting.
